Doug McLendon
Member of the Board of Trustees

"One impressive characteristic of our board is that its members have an enormous amount of experience in their nonprofit careers and have been accountable for some very large budgets. I think this collective experience is the reason why over the years the Trust has been able to develop the kinds of fiscal policies and controls that ensure the money entrusted to it by members is put to the best possible use."
Doug McLendon chairs the 501(c) Agencies Trust board. After a 25-year career in banking, he entered the nonprofit world. Since then, he has served with the United Way of Santa Clara County, the American Musical Theater of San Jose, and the San Jose Symphony.
Doug has also been active on the board of several nonprofits, including Children's Discovery Museum in San Jose, American Beethoven Society, Santa Clara County Audubon Society, and Second Harvest Food Bank of Santa Clara and San Mateo.
