Peter Grignon
Member of the Board of Trustees

"The trustees are committed to investing prudently while achieving strong returns. To achieve that aim, we have contracted with an independent investment advisor to assist us in these matters. The success of our strategy has helped us reduce unemployment costs without exposing member assets to risk."
Peter Grignon is CFO of United Way of Pierce County whose net assets top $10 million. He also oversees the operations of two other related entities for United Way: the Combined Federal Campaign and the BMB LP. The BMB LP, a real estate partnership, was created to offer below-market rental rates for other nonprofits and has been successful at maintaining 100% occupancy since the partnership's inception in 1995.
A CPA by training, Peter also serves as a member of the United Way of America Financial Issues Committee. He is also former chair of the Northwest Agencies Trust.
