The following reasons generally do not provide good cause for quitting:

  • Lack of promotional opportunities
  • Dissatisfaction with salary or a raise
  • Temporary changes in hours or function due to emergencies
  • Boredom with job
  • Dissatisfaction with training or supervision
  • Disagreement with a performance evaluation
  • Personality conflict with a co-worker or supervisor
