This program will take you through the basics of The Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993 (FMLA) and help you to understand the key provisions of the law, identify the purpose and benefits of the FMLA, recognize when and to whom it applies, protect yourself and your organization from liability, assist employees in handling leaves appropriately, and understand the interplay between FMLA, State Leaves, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and Workers’ Compensation.
