Today, we welcome Brevard Achievement Center Enterprises (BAC) as a new program participant of 501(c) Agencies Trust. Like the other members of the Trust, BAC is now returning much of the money they had been sending to the state in the form of unemployment taxes to their programs and services.
BAC, founded in 1968, was Brevard County’s first locally based nonprofit dedicated to helping people with disabilities achieve personal success. With a staff of 90 and 5,000-plus clients served annually, BAC consistently meets quality guidelines set by agencies like the U.S. Department of Labor and the Department of Education’s Vocational Rehabilitation Services program. BAC is also a United Way partner.
